Malaysia -> KUALA LUMPUR -> Chinatown
Chinatown    KUALA LUMPUR,

Chinatown is one of the popular stops for locals and visitors alike, most coming to JalanPetaling Street. Formerly home to brothels and gambling dens, it is now the go-to spot for pirated DVDs, fake watches and purses, and a plethora of food stalls. Most of the food stalls are concentrated on JalanAlor where you can find anything from frog porridge, dim sum, herbal teas, and roasted meats. One of KL's main Hindu shrines is also in Chinatown, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple built in 1873. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Mariamman who protects against sickness and "unholy incidents."
